Billy Connolly Lego minifigures to go on sale for a day in Glasgow
People should line up for blocks – as the limited-edition Billy Connolly Lego mini-figures will be on sale in Glasgow for one day only.
Only 750 limited edition figurines have been created by Buchanan Galleries and all proceeds go to the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
Five different “Wee Big Yins” will be up for grabs on Saturday 4 September, each representing a different stage in the Glasgow comedian’s illustrious career.
The collection is made up of musician Yin, Funny Yin, Biker Yin, actor Yin and artist Yin – all proceeds going to the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
Kathy Murdoch, Center Director at Buchanan Galleries, said: “We wanted to celebrate one of Scotland’s most famous and beloved celebrities, while also raising funds for a very worthy cause, so we’re excited to be able to bring Billy to life. in miniature form.
“The minifigures were created from real LEGO® bricks, an iconic toy for many people, and we are sure they will become a true collector’s item.
“We have been supporting the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity for several years now and our buyers have been incredibly generous with our charity that has helped children and their families overcome life-changing treatments since then. 20 years.

500 of the single “Funny Yins” will be available for a minimum donation of £ 10, and another 50 full sets of the five “Wee Big Yins” will be available for a minimum charitable donation of £ 50. With limited stock, the range of mini figures will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
