Winter 2022′ Genius Prince gets off to a bad start, but he could still be the next KonoSuba if the production plays its cards right.

Kono Suba was the surprise hit that no one really expected. He was initially derided for Studio Deen’s hilarious production skills, but that ended up becoming part of his unique humor. Its unconventional take on the isekai genre, with a relatively weak protagonist who survives only on her wits, and a group of misfit companions also contributes greatly to its success. But since Kono Subafew animes have been able to duplicate its formula, even The fighters will be sent! the other isekai anime by the same author failed to replicate Kono Subais success.

So it’s quite surprising to see an under-the-radar anime come closest to Kono Suba in terms of initial style and humor. Winter 2022 The Prince’s Genie’s Guide to Getting a Nation Out of Debt also attempts to walk that fine line between poor production quality and intentional humor. It features a protagonist who tries his best to sabotage his own success and fails miserably, as well as a cast of interesting female characters, particularly his assistant/childhood friend/love interest Ninym (incidentally voiced by the same voice actor that Kono Suba(Megumin, Takahashi Rie.)

genius prince wein and ninym

As its overly detailed title suggests, the anime is about a genius prince’s attempt to get his poor and weak nation, Natra, out of debt. The titular prince, Wein Salema Arbalest, secretly wants to sell his nation to its much stronger neighbor, Empire Earthwold. He planned to make his nation more attractive by strengthening it first, so he could sell it for a good price and retire earlier. But his continued quest to exert minimal effort and stay flat continually backfires, and his nation grows much stronger than he expected.

It’s important to note that this is not an isekai anime, it’s not technically a fantasy either, the story takes place in an ancient world with no magic or special creatures, so plans and strategy take center stage from the scene. This is actually a good thing for this anime as it clearly doesn’t have the funds to produce all-out war or show off any magical powers, as even simple conversation scenes with the characters often seem poorly produced. In the anime’s first episode, an entire battle is played out using mostly stills and points on a map, with some exposures for clarification.

RELATED: KonoSuba Season 2 Makes Even More Critical Changes From The Light Novels

genius prince ep 1 battle points on the map

Strangely, this cost-cutting strategy actually works for the overall tone of the anime, as this is a deeply indebted nation with very few resources, so it’s fitting that the anime mimics that feeling of impoverishment on screen. This style also made battle incredibly fast (although some would say rushed) and surprisingly feel like a strategy-based game. This is a situation similar to Kono Subawhere its protagonist Satou Kazuma is also constantly in debt and looking for ways to make money, so the bad animation matched its characters’ predicament and even added an extra layer of hilarity.

Despite being incredibly competent, Wein isn’t the most hardworking or driven person, just like Kono Subait’s Kazuma. Wein the Prince still has to pretend to be a charismatic leader in front of his people, but he dreads going to war and just wants to cut the casualties. Still, his plans have worked out too well for his own good, so he often throws tantrums in front of Ninym to unwind. The contrast between the two sides of Wein and the mixture of the serious and the absurd is a kind of self-deprecating humor that is quite reminiscent Kono Subaeven if it is true, Kono Suba does better by being much more exaggerated.

With only one episode released, it’s unclear how bad the animation quality will be in the future, or if the production can repeatedly turn trash into treasure and sustain it for an entire season. They need to make smart decisions about cost cutting rather than just coming up with bad animation. If they can step up the humor and introduce more likable characters while emphasizing the strategies that are so important to the plot, things might just end up working out for the better, just like they do for Wein. .

Mikey is one of the most important characters in Tokyo avengers, a time-traveling anime that revolves around a Japanese biker gang called Toman. As the leader of Toman, Mikey plays a key role in the plot of the series and can be seen as both a hero and a villain, especially due to how dangerous Toman is in the future.

RELATED: Arcane: 10 Ways Jinx Impacted History

Mikey even played a major role in the events of the story that take place before the first episode. Tokyo Revengers has become a fan-favorite series since its release and many viewers are eagerly awaiting more. There is currently only one anime season, but even then, Mikey contributed a lot to the first season of the anime.

ten Mikey formed Toman with his childhood friends

When Mikey was a kid, he was close friends with Draken, Baji, Pah, Mitsuya, and Kazutora. Together, the six of them formed Toman. Although it was Baji’s idea to create the gang in the first place, Mikey became Toman’s leader, with the other members having their own role as well. Kazutora and Baji end up leaving the gang and Pah is arrested, but Toman gains many more members who replace them. A large gang allowed Mikey to have a large following and become one of the most powerful characters in the series.

9 Mikey befriended Takemichi

After being forced to join Kiyomasa’s fight club, which he secretly ran behind Mikey’s back, Takemichi stood up to Kiyomasa and challenged him to a fight. Mikey noticed Takemichi’s determination and offered his friendship. Seeing that Takemichi was from the future and wanted to prevent a lot of terrible things from happening, this simple act allowed Takemichi to change the timeline in many ways. If Mikey and Takemichi never became friends, the different timelines that Takemichi created would likely have looked completely different.

8 Mikey led Toman in their battle with Moebius

tokyo revengers toman vs moebius

At the start of the anime, Toman’s greatest enemy was Moebius. After Moebius hurt Pah’s friend and sexually assaulted his girlfriend, Mikey discussed the incident with Pah and decided that Toman and Moebius should fight over the transgression.

RELATED: Arcane: 7 Ways Vi Impacted History

Thanks to Mikey’s leadership, Toman was inspired and excited to fight against his enemies at Moebius on August 3. When daylight finally came, Moebius tried to corner a few of Toman’s members, but the rest of the gang was ready for battle.

seven Mikey took Peh back to Toman

Before the battle on August 3, Osanai, the leader of Moebius, fought Mikey and Pah. Pah ended up stabbing Osanai and was voluntarily arrested. While some members of Toman respected Pah’s choice, others wanted to save him. Being close friends with Pah, Peh was very upset and grew angry with Draken, who respected Pah’s decision more than anyone. Peh went so far as to join Moebius in revenge, claiming that Toman was now his enemy. However, Mikey didn’t want to fight his friend. On August 3, Mikey confronted Peh and was able to bring him back to Toman.

6 Mikey asked Kisaki to become Toman’s third division captain

With Pah no longer the captain of Toman’s Third Division, Mikey had to replace him. He gathered the members of Toman to reveal who he chose to replace Pah. No one was more shocked than Takemichi when Mikey appointed Kisaki as the new captain. After all, Takemichi knew all the terrible things Kisaki will do in the future and that he is responsible for Toman’s corruption. Because Mikey allowed Kisaki to join Toman and gave him considerable power within the gang, Kisaki ended up hurting and killing many people related to Toman.

5 Mikey led Toman in their battle with Valhalla

Similar to the battle with Moebius, Mikey led his followers to battle Valhalla – the same gang that Kazutora and Baji left Toman for. While Mikey wanted revenge on Kazutora in order to avenge his brother, he didn’t want to fight Baji since he still considered him a friend. Mikey told the rest of Toman his plan and they were happy to fight Valhalla, hoping to bring Baji back. Unfortunately, no matter what happened, Baji never returns in any timeline.

4 Mikey killed Kazutora in a single timeline

tokyo revengers kazutora guilt getting hit by mikey

During the battle between Toman and Valhalla known as Bloody Halloween, Kazutora ended up betraying Baji and killing him. Mikey already hated Kazutora for murdering his brother, but it made him even angrier. Mikey killed Kazutora and was forever a changed man.

RELATED: Attack On Titan: 10 Ways Levi Impacted History

After demanding his revenge, Mikey started walking down a dark path. Eventually, Valhalla took control of Toman. Luckily, it wasn’t too late for Takemichi to go back in time and change the outcome of Bloody Halloween.

3 Mikey forgave Kazutora in an alternate timeline

Tokyo Revengers Kazutora apologizes to Mikey

In the new timeline created by Takemichi, Baji does not die at the hands of Kazutora, but rather by himself. In order to reunite his old friends, Baji publicly commits suicide. As a result, Mikey does not kill Kazutora. Instead, Kazutora decides to surrender to the authorities to make up for what he has done. After being imprisoned, he even considers killing himself as well, until Draken visits him with a message from Mikey. The leader of Toman forgave his old friend and still considered him a member of Toman.

2 Mikey accepted members of Valhalla in Toman

tokyo-revengers-mikey-commander

After Toman wins the Bloody Halloween in the second timeline, Valhalla wants to join them. Because Mikey accepts them into his gang, Toman increases his ranks from 150 members to 300. While the majority of Toman is happy to join forces with their former enemies, Takemichi understands that it doesn’t matter who won the Bloody Halloween. Either way, Valhalla and Toman would become a gang, just like Kisaki wanted. Mikey had played into his haters’ hands with a decision that would make Toman much more sinister.

1 Mikey asked Takemichi to become the captain of the Toman Premier League

After Baji’s death, Chifuyu is supposed to take over as captain of Toman’s First Division. However, he became good friends with Takemichi before the Bloody Halloween and agreed to help him gain more power in Toman. After Baji died, Chifuyu talked Mikey into making Takemichi the next First Division captain and Mikey supports Chifuyu’s choice. By the end of the first season, Takemichi is much closer to completing his mission and even becomes an executive of Toman in the future.

The world of Japanese anime is populated by several thousand diverse characters who can be categorized in all sorts of ways, from their MBTI personality types to their -dere types, such as tsundere or kuudere. But that’s not all. Anime characters can also be described in everyday terms, both positive and negative, from class clown to perfectionist to bully.

RELATED: 10 Anime Characters Who Like To Drink

Many anime characters hold themselves to a high standard and expect a lot from themselves and others, and some anime characters can be described as perfectionists, for better or for worse. A perfectionist will push themselves very hard to be the best and care about any mistakes or imperfections. These anime perfectionists won’t rest easy until everything is exactly as it should be.

ten Princess Azula won’t accept second best (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

The Last Airbender Theory: Legend of Korra's Secret Azula Cameo Finishes Its Arc

The anime-style action series Avatar: The Last Airbender features a truly terrifying villain, the talented Princess Azula. She intimidates her allies and enemies due to her ruthless and cruel nature, and she is a perfectionist on top of that.

Azula is Ozai’s favorite and she can’t stand the thought of letting him down. Even though her incredible firebending moves are near perfect, Azula will blame herself for not being absolutely perfect, which could ruin her mood. Eventually, Azula cracked under the pressure and fell out of favor.

9 Levi Ackerman won’t tolerate dust and dirt (Attack On Titan)

Attack on Titan Levi Determined

Captain Levi Ackerman has quickly established himself as a stern and pragmatic commander, and he will not tolerate foolish behavior or error in the Scouts for any reason. Levi holds everyone to very high standards, including himself, and his subordinates were truly inspired.

Levi is also into cleaning, and he made fans laugh with his passion for house cleaning. For Levi, however, it’s no joke, and he’ll make Eren clean all day if it means keeping the house spotless.

8 Endeavor pushed his son too hard to succeed (My Hero Academia)

effort mha

Some anime parents are strict and push their kids hard enough to succeed, and sometimes it pays off. Other times, however, this intense pressure to be perfect inspires their children to rebel instead, which can cause serious family drama. The Todoroki family is a prime example.

RELATED: 10 Anime Characters Who Do Well Under Pressure

Endeavor, the hero of flame failed to surpass All Might, so he entered into an alter marriage and continued to have children until he got one with the ideal combination of Quirks – Shoto. Then, Endeavor pressured Shoto to be perfect and groomed him to be the ultimate weapon. However, it didn’t quite go as Endeavor had planned.

seven Misaki Ayuzawa Can’t Stop Working (Maid-Sama!)

misaki ayuzawa maid-sama

It’s important to note that being a workaholic or a perfectionist isn’t always a good thing. In fiction as in real life, these people are not always productive or constructive. Luckily, some actually are, and that includes student council president Misaki Ayuzawa.

Misaki carries many burdens for her age, and she won’t let anything slip. She will push herself to the point of exhaustion to do a perfect job on everything from studying to working on the student council and supporting her impoverished mother. She’s not one to let things go, and she doesn’t easily forgive mistakes of herself or others.

6 Captain Byakuya Kuchiki won’t let anything slip (Bleach)

byakuya in bleach

Captain Byakuya Kuchiki was born into the noble Kuchiki family, and since childhood, he was expected to lead the family one day, which is a huge responsibility. Byakuya took this duty seriously, and he also strictly followed the law. He only made exceptions for sisters Hisana and Rukia, once for each.

RELATED: 10 Anime Characters Who Are Always One Step Ahead

Otherwise, Byakuya is a bit of a perfectionist, being one to harshly but fairly criticize others for failing or making mistakes, and he also acts dignified and aloof. He seems determined to be a model captain in every way, and he has largely succeeded.

5 Kisho Arima strives for perfection (Tokyo Ghoul)

Kisho Arima is the strongest CCG investigator of them all, and since his teenage years has been widely recognized for his formidable talent and impeccable work ethic. For Kisho, work is everything, and he calmly but firmly holds himself to incredibly high standards. He sometimes projects this attitude onto others as well, but he’s not bossy about it.

Kisho lives up to his reputation time and time again, despite being humorless and stern about it. He will scold his subordinates for being 0.1 seconds too slow to execute an attack, and only true perfection would care. In fact, most mentors wouldn’t even notice a 0.1 second turnaround time.

4 Kuvira won’t do things by halves (The Legend of Korra)

Of all the fictional perfectionists, metalbender Kuvira is among the most successful, as she manages to channel her perfectionist attitude constructively. Instead of wasting her time obsessing over little details that don’t matter, she expresses her perfectionism by refusing to end her mission until it’s absolutely complete.

RELATED: 10 Anime Characters Who Like To Plan

Specifically, Kuvira aims to reunite the fractured Earth Kingdom into a centralized empire, and she has meticulously made sure to include every last city and territory in her plan without exception. She also pushed herself and her subordinates to do her best, and she has no patience for mistakes, complacency, or idleness.

3 Yuki Sohma’s mother demanded perfection from her son (fruit basket)

Yuki's Mother Fruit Basket

Yuki Sohma is the Rat of the Zodiac, and much is expected of him as a result. Not only does he have to deal with the emotionally controlling Akito Sohma, but he also has to deal with his perfectionist, self-centered mother, who may be known as Mrs. Sohma.

Mrs. Sohma viewed her son as a tool and ardently wanted him to be perfect so that she could benefit from him indirectly. Ms. Sohma had no patience or tolerance for anything that stood in the way of Yuki’s growth and influence, which ultimately alienated her son from her. She wanted a perfect son, but what she needed was a son who loved her.

2 Light Yagami worries about everything (Death Note)

Death Note Light Yagami

Being a paranoid perfectionist is what helped Light Yagami escape the clutches of L the Super-Detective, but it’s also a stressful lifestyle. Still, as Kira, Light can’t afford to make mistakes or let anything slip away from him, so he meticulously considers every angle before making a move.

Light had the perfect facade as the hardworking son of Soichiro Yagami, and he completely shielded himself from the police by hiding all traces of his notebook and Kira’s activities. Then he launched a plan to make Kyosuke Higuchi the new Kira, but not before everything was in place.

1 Kaguya Shinomiya Has High Standards (Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War)

Kaguya Shinomiya’s perfectionism is expressed in a humorous and heartfelt way, and student council president Miyuki Shirogane also has a similar attitude. For starters, Kaguya comes from a powerful and wealthy family, and perfection is expected of her as a matter of course. She’s no ordinary girl.

Kaguya is also a naturally meticulous and intelligent person who will work out all the details before making a plan, and she will panic if the slightest thing goes wrong. She simply must being right about everything, and that’s what it takes if she intends to win the war of love with Miyuki.

naruto is still one of the biggest titles in shonen anime, and it’s easy to see why. naruto boasts a legendary and compelling ninjutsu battle system, a huge cast of classic shonen characters, memorable fight scenes, and much more. naruto ninjas are some of the most skilled fighters of the entire shonen genre.

RELATED: 10 Fastest Demon Slayer Characters, Ranked

The characters of naruto can be assessed in many ways, from their chakra reserves and best jutsu and taijutsu proficiency. There’s also the issue of speed, with some ninjas moving faster than the eye can see, and many of the fastest characters in the series are Hidden Leaf ninjas in the main series. It’s clear who the fastest Leaf ninjas are in the main events of Naruto.

ten Kiba Inuzuka uses canine jutsu in combat

Kiba Inuzuka is among the less impressive members of the Konoha 11 squad, but he’s still a capable melee fighter who is never seen without his canine companion, Akamaru. Kiba is quite fast when using his chakra and ninjutsu to imitate dogs, including the Fang Over Fang technique.

Kiba then fell behind his fellow Konoha 11 members, and he didn’t do much during the Fourth Shinobi Great War. Yet he ranks among the most powerful and outstanding chunin, and he has a ferocious speed and aggressiveness worthy of any taijutsu specialist.

9 Jiraiya is faster than it looks

Jiraiya

Jiraiya the Toad Sage tends to emphasize summoning jutsu and ninjutsu in battle, such as firebombs and summoning Gamabunta, but he’s not exactly a fixed target. Jiraiya has a quick wit and quick feet to adapt to in combat, making him a tough opponent for any ninja, even the Six Paths of Pain.

Jiraiya can easily evade an enemy’s attacks while preparing his own jutsu, giving him enough time to prepare a devastating jutsu to finish the fight. He can also enter Sage Mode, further increasing his speed and strength.

8 Neji Hyuga has some moves

5 neji hyuga using byakugan

Neji Hyuga was a talented member of the esteemed Hyuga ninja clan, although he was stuck in the cadet branch of that family. Despite the adverse circumstances of his birth, Neji worked hard to cultivate his talents, from his Byakugan eyes to his fierce taijutsu as a Gentle Fist user.

RELATED: My Hero Academia: 10 Fastest Pro Heroes, Ranked By Speed

Neji can move in quick bursts in battle, quickly hitting his enemy’s chakra points to cut them off from the ninjutsu. Neji is a melee fighter who fears no foe, and his combination of sheer speed, endless hours of training, and Byakuygan vision make him a tough target to hit.

seven Sasuke Uchiha is an agile fighter

Sasuke grimacing; his curse mark is visible on his neck

Speed might not be Sasuke Uchiha’s main asset, but still, this rogue Leaf ninja ranks among the fastest naruto characters and among the fastest Leaf ninjas in particular. Sasuke has always been a talented ninja in everything from genjutsu to taijutsu, and he’s only gotten better with time.

Sasuke trained with his mentor Kakashi Hatake to match Rock Lee’s speed in taijutsu, and Shippuden, he was even faster and most ninjas just couldn’t keep up with him. And it helps that he has his Sharingan eyes supporting him.

6 Kakashi Hatake can act quickly in battle

Late Kakashi meme

Kakashi Hatake doesn’t always seem to take things seriously, but when he does, his speed, strength, ninjutsu, and tactical intelligence are all amazing. Kakashi also ranks among the best-rounded Leaf ninjas, mastering just about every arena, from genjutsu to summoning and weaponry.

RELATED: Bleach: 10 Fastest Characters, Ranked

Kakashi’s speed has allowed him to survive hundreds of missions. With this speed, he can evade ninjutsu or enemy weapons before countering with his fearsome Lightning Blade in a devastating melee attack. Hardly anyone will have time to block or dodge such an attack.

5 Rock Lee is all about taijutsu

rock lee open mouth naruto

Rock Lee practices taijutsu to the exclusion of everything else since he was born unable to do any ninjutsu or genjutsu at all. Rock Lee is determined to become a splendid ninja with martial arts alone, and at this rate, he absolutely will.

Rock Lee easily ranks among the fastest ninjas in the Leaf Village thanks to his mastery of taijutsu, especially when he took off his ankle weights during the Chunin Exam story arc. He can also open the interior doors to move even faster, although taking this route is risky.

4 Might Guy wrote the book on taijutsu

Smiling Might Guy - Naruto

Might Guy is the Leaf Village’s undisputed taijutsu master, and he personally trained Rock Lee in the ways of martial arts. Might Guy is also naturally competitive and optimistic at heart, valuing the “springtime of youth”. In battle, he fights with seemingly endless vigor and zeal.

RELATED: 10 Fastest Anime Characters Ever, Ranked

Might Guy is famous for his overwhelming strength and tremendous speed with taijutsu alone, allowing him to stand up to extremely talented ninjutsu users with physical strength alone. If he opens enough doors, he can even challenge Madara Uchiha and Tailed Beasts.

3 Itachi Uchiha was incredibly talented

Itachi Uchiha with his mask

Even by Uchiha Family standards, let alone Leaf Village standards, Itachi Uchiha was an extraordinarily talented person, and he joined the ANBU black ops at a remarkably young age. Everyone admired his raw talent for fighting, which included taijutsu among other things.

Itachi seems to favor genjutsu illusions over combat, but he can also perform incredible feats of taijutsu if need be, moving across the battlefield with astonishing speed. No one can touch him in battle, and he can dispatch many enemies before they even know what’s going on.

2 Naruto Uzumaki can increase his speed with special modes

By default, Naruto Uzumaki, the shonen protagonist, has remarkable speed, but he must use special modes if he wants to rank among the fastest characters in Leaf Village. For example, when Naruto uses Sage Mode, his speed is greatly enhanced, and that’s not all.

Naruto can also use Kurama’s chakra and Six Paths mode to increase his strength and speed to incredible levels, to the point where he can match or surpass the super-fast ninjas in Cloud Village, which is saying a lot.

1 Minato Namikaze was renowned for his speed

Minato Namikaze Fourth Hokage Naruto Dad

Minato Namikaze, the famous Fourth Hokage, was known as Yellow Flash thanks to his unparalleled speed. He is the fastest ninja in Leaf Village, though he didn’t rely solely on speed to fight. He invented the Rasengan technique, which later became his son’s favorite jutsu.

Minato could teleport across battlefields in an instant, especially when using his kunai knife, and even Obito Uchiha couldn’t keep up with him. Minato could also summon the massive Gamabunta into battle if needed.

Pokémon Journeys: The Series marks the long-running franchise anime’s 23rd season to date, with Travels‘ Chloe Cerise and classic protagonist Ash Ketchum among the most famous Pokémon characters to try to catch them all since the original anime aired in 1997. However, in contrast, Goh received a decidedly frosty reception from fans of the series, with the audience unable to warm up to the naturally talented young coach.

The second season of Pokemon Journeys continues the fellowship adventures of the aforementioned Ash, Goh, and Chloe as they travel through all eight known Pokémon regions, including Pokémon Sword and Shield‘s UK-inspired Galar. The final episodes of Season 2 also see the trio explore the icy Galar tundra before returning to Kanto’s classic setting, Vermillion City. The last four episodes of Pokemon Journeys season 2 is set to release on January 21-28, 2022 and will be part of a story arc based on the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Arceus video game.

Although TV Tokyo has moved forward with plans to release another Pokemon Journeys season, Goh remains a universally reviled character in anime as a whole. Goh’s anger stems primarily from his exceptional and seemingly natural talents for capturing Pokémon, with the character already having two Legendaries in his Pokédex, despite having almost no training. Goh’s supremacy over the much more experienced Ash, who is considered to have earned his place in the pantheon of great Pokémon trainers, has caused much resentment towards his character from a fervent anime fanbase.

Despite Pokemon Journeys Spanning just two of the official Pokémon anime’s vast 24 seasons, Goh’s accomplishments already eclipse those of every other protagonist to date. In a short time, Goh has already caught and encountered several Mythical and Legendary Pokémon, his most impressive catch being the legendary dog Suicune. These legendary encounters seem undeserved due to his relatively short time on the show, meaning he’s seen as a deus-ex-machina-style character who can handle any situation.

In contrast, Ash Ketchum is literally the poster child for Pokemon, having been the main protagonist of the series since 1997. As such, Ash is widely regarded as the best and most beloved trainer of all time, which means that any character who usurps him is likely to be criticized. . Pokemon Journeys portrays Goh as a better trainer than Ash in many ways, which was not well received by longtime fans of the show.

Goh’s flippant nature also plays into his unpopularity, with many of his best takes to date seemingly done on a whim. This contrasts again with Ash’s classic blood and thunder style towards Pokémon training, with Ash putting his heart and soul into every encounter he has. Ash’s mantra of treating all Pokemon equally is what Pokemon anime audiences have become accustomed to over the past 25 years, ensuring that Goh’s stark changes to this formula act as a jarring feature. While Goh can still redeem himself in the eyes of Pokemon Journeys anime fanbase, he remains for now one of the most hated characters ever introduced in the series.

5 anime characters Jolyne Cujoh could defeat (& 5 she would lose) https://plamo.info/5-anime-characters-jolyne-cujoh-could-defeat-5-she-would-lose/ Fri, 14 Jan 2022 02:45:05 +0000 https://plamo.info/5-anime-characters-jolyne-cujoh-could-defeat-5-she-would-lose/ The sixth protagonist of JoJo’s bizarre adventure is the punk heroine Jolyne Cujoh, who must fight for his freedom in Green Dolphin Street prison and save the life of his father Jotaro. The sixth protagonist of JoJo’s bizarre adventure is the punk heroine Jolyne Cujoh, who must fight for his freedom in Green Dolphin Street prison and save the life of his father Jotaro. Jolyne is no ordinary prisoner. She is also a Stand user and she wields a remarkable Stand named Stone Free.

RELATED: Jujutsu Kaisen: 5 Comic Book Characters Gojo Could Defeat (& 5 Who Lose It)

Jolyne’s Stand is a humanoid melee fighter, like Star Platinum, but that’s not all. He can also transform into a string, allowing Jolyne to form string barriers, squeeze through tight spaces, and even grab enemies from afar and capture them, much like Spider-Man. Now, Jolyne must fight not only the enemy booth users, but also a greater variety of anime fighters in the Green Dolphin facility. She can beat most of them, but a few enemies are too strong even for her.

ten CAN WIN: Darkness would love to be beaten up (Konosuba)

For Jolyne Cujoh, a zany isekai adventurer like the Darkness crusader is just a warm-up. Maybe Darkness finally went too far and got arrested, and now she’s incarcerated alongside Jolyne. And only one of them can escape this prison.

Darkness would challenge Jolyne according to her Crusader honor, but the fight would get silly pretty quickly. Darkness would love to be tied up and humiliated by the hard ropes of Stone Free, and she would relish Stands’ many punches to her enduring body.

9 CAN’T WIN: Milim Nava is just too strong (this time I reincarnated in slime)

milim nava pointing

Despite his youthful appearance and wacky troublemaker personality, Milim Nava ranks among the strongest Reincarnated as Vase characters of all, and she is definitely the most powerful female character in this series. She is one of the oldest and most powerful demon lords, and she has proven it more than once.

Milim’s speed, strength and durability are many times that of Stone Free, Star Platinum or any other medium. Additionally, Milim can take flight with his bat wings and unleash the devastating Drago Nova attack, whether or not in his dragonoid form. Jolyne will be destroyed in a hurry.

8 CAN WIN: Inosuke Hashibira Can’t Cut Without Stone (Demon Slayer)

Inosuke brandishes his swords angrily

If Stone Free was a demon using the Blood Arts, then Inosuke Hashibira the Slayer would have no trouble defeating him. He could use his Nichirin Twin Blades to cut his ropes and destroy his body, but alas, Stone Free is a Stand, not a demon. Inosuke will learn the difference too late.

RELATED: 5 Anime Characters Venom Can Defeat (& 5 He Would Lose)

Stands are indestructible unless you’re facing another pit, and Inosuke certainly doesn’t have a pit of his own. So Stone Free could easily entangle Inosuke with his unbreakable ropes, then punch him hard to knock him out. Inosuke’s swords cannot protect him from such an assault.

seven CANNOT WIN: Shikamaru Nara can use Shadow Possession Jutsu (Naruto)

shikamaru looking sideways naruto

If Stone Free was within close range of Shikamaru Nara, the Tactical Genius, Shikamaru would be beaten half to death in no time. It’s the perfect scenario for Jolyne in this duel, but Shikamaru won’t let it come to that. He has a few tricks up his sleeve.

Jolyne is a smart and resourceful fighter, but Shikamaru is even more so, and he has the jutsu of shadow possession on his side. He could easily restrain Jolyne with his shadow and force Stone Free to move away, then blast Jolyne higher with his explosive ninja beacons or simply stab her with a kunai knife.

6 CAN WIN: Kotaro Amon didn’t train to fight the pits (Tokyo Ghoul)

Kotaro Amon is a skilled and dedicated ghoul hunter who can use a variety of quinque in combat, and he once fought alongside Kureo Mado, whom he admired. Kotaro knows what he’s doing, but if he fights a Stand user, he’ll be totally out of his element.

RELATED: My Hero Academia: 5 Avengers Bakugo Could Defeat (& 5 He Would Lose Against)

The CCG training prepared Kotaro to fight ghouls, not Stand users, and he won’t have a chance to adapt. Jolyne could easily block Kotaro’s quinque and capture him, then beat him until he submitted with Stone Free’s fists.

5 CAN’T OVERCOME: Pride Is Indestructible (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)

Evil face pride

Jolyne Cujoh reportedly struggles against most homunculi in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhoodbecause they have supernatural abilities and can regenerate their wounds. She could restrain melee warrior Greed or block Wrath’s swords with her ropes, but pride is another matter.

Dark Pride is the strongest homunculus, and its true body is a mass of shadows covered with hungry eyes and mouths. Even a powerful Stand can’t fight a monster like this, and Jolyne would be forced to retreat before Pride could tear her apart.

4 CAN WIN: Shota Aizawa cannot neutralize Jolyne’s “Quirk” (My Hero Academia)

Against most of the fighters of the My hero university universe, Shota Aizawa / Eraserhead can use his Quirk of Erasure to negate his opponent’s Quirk and gain a huge advantage, then hold back his opponent with a variety of traps and tools. However, Jolyne’s “Quirk” is another matter.

RELATED: Naruto: 5 Anime Characters Orochimaru Could Defeat (& 5 He Would Lose Against)

Stone Free may remind Aizawa of Dark Shadow, but it’s not really an Alter, and therefore Erasure won’t have an effect on it. Aizawa has to fight with his fists and tools, and that’s not enough to handle Stone Free’s delicate ropes and devastating blows. Eraserhead goes down.

3 CANNOT WIN: Sho Kusakabe Can Stop Time (Force of Fire)

sho kusakabe

In his own universe, DIO the Vampire can freeze time with The World, and Jolyne’s father Jotaro can do the same with Star Platinum after a while. It can turn any battle into a one-sided slaughter, and even if DIO isn’t around, Jolyne still has to fear that power.

Sho Kusakabe can use his Ignition ability to cool the universe and stop time for everyone except himself, then smash his enemies to pieces with his katana. Shinra barely survived thanks to Adolla Grace, but Jolyne will be helpless and Sho will chop off her head.

2 CAN WIN: Lisana Strauss’ Magic Isn’t Strong Enough (Fairy Tail)

fairy tail lisanna strauss

Lisana Strauss is the youngest of the three Strauss wizards, and like the other two, she can use Take Over magic to transform her body into other forms. As Mirajane transforms into a demon and Elfman becomes a monstrous brute, Lisana models her magic on animals.

In combat, Lisanna can transform her arms into bird wings or take on the form of a cat girl, among other combinations, but she does not have the power to defeat a Stand user. She can’t destroy Stone Free, and Stone Free can keep Lisanna at bay long enough for Jolyne to improvise a winning move.

1 CANNOT WIN: Satoru Gojo Can Wield Infinity (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Satoru Gojo the Sorcerer is already one of the most powerful anime characters of all time, and even his most powerful enemies fear him. He has enormous skills as a jujutsu wizard in melee combat, and when using his infinite powers and domain expansion, he is unstoppable.

Satoru’s infinite power makes him untouchable, even to the strongest curses, and he can trap his enemies in infinity if he wishes. He could do that to Jolyne if their fight turns sour and traps Joestar’s heroine forever. She’s not doing it.

Six years ago, Mob Psycho 100 introduced anime fans to a world of evil spirits and powerful espers – beings with telekinetic abilities who are considered “exorcists” capable of preventing these evil spirits from harming humanity.

Over the course of two seasons, the series, which focuses on protagonist Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, has given fans several powerful spheres to invest in. However, none have proven to be as strong as Mob. Nonetheless, there has been more than one whose feats of strength provided some thrilling moments in the series.

With the 3rd and final season of Mob Psycho 100 announced at the end of 2021, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the series, slated for April, to see how far their favorite characters have come since last season. In the meantime, let’s take a look back at 10 of the most powerful espers that have been featured in the series so far.

Dimple

Dimple was once a powerful, upper-class evil spirit before Mob defeated him and drained him of his spiritual energy in the first season of Mob Psycho 100. Subsequently, Dimple became Mob’s sidekick for the rest of his time in the anime.

Now all Dimple can do is own other people for short periods of time. Admittedly, this power is quite tame compared to the abilities of the other characters in the series, but it at has come in handy when Mob and his friends needed an “inside man” to help turn situations in their favor.

Ritsu Kageyama

Most fans already assumed that Mob’s younger brother, Ritsu, had telepathic abilities since the two characters are brothers, but for the first two seasons it seemed his powers were mostly dormant. Although he tried not to show it, Ritsu was quite resentful towards Mob because of it.

Eventually Ritsu’s powers finally surfaced and since then they have gradually grown stronger. As Mob’s younger brother, Ritsu has all of the same abilities, but since he discovered them late in life, he’s still much weaker than Mob. However, Ritsu can currently hold its own with mid-level espers and if Mob is any indication, Ritsu’s power could reach incredible levels in Season 3.

Teruki Hanazawa

One of the few espers to stand up to Mob, Teruki Hanazawa is a high school student who challenges Mob to an esper battle so they can show off what they can do with their telekinetic abilities. While Mob ultimately won, there’s no denying that Hanazawa was able to keep up with Mob.

His esper abilities are strong enough to stand up to mortal members of the evil esper organization known as the Claw.

Toshiki Minegichi

As a member of the Claw criminal organization, Toshiki Minegichi is part of the Ultimate 5, a group made up of the five most elite members of Claw who are considered exceptional when it comes to using psychic abilities.

Minegichi has the unique power to create and control plant life, which he extracts to produce vines and Venus fly traps that attack and immobilize his enemies. While the power doesn’t seem very dangerous, if used strategically, Minegichi’s ability can become quite dangerous against a less powerful esper.

Sho Suzuki

As the son of Claw’s most powerful leader, Sho has been extensively trained to strengthen his psychic abilities, making him one of the strongest and most experienced espers in the series aside from Mob.

Sho has a range of impressive esper abilities, including the same level of telekinesis that Mob is famous for. He can also bend the light to his will and make himself invisible. Additionally, he can store energy, allowing him to gradually build up his power before releasing it all at once.

Roy Shimazaki

Another member of Claw’s Ultimate 5, Ryo Shimazaki is arguably one of the most powerful espers in Mob Psycho 100. The man is so strong that he was able to easily defeat Teruki and Ritsu at the same time in an esper fight.

Her greatest strength is the ability to teleport, a power that allows her to move just about anywhere at a rapid speed. Shimazaki can also use his “Mind’s Eye” to detect other espers before he is attacked. Using teleportation and the “Mind’s Eye” together, Shimazaki can also quickly attack multiple opponents at the same time while evading their counterattacks.

Katsuyama Serizawa

As a member of Claw’s Ultimate 5, Katsuyama Serizawa was considered the most human member, which prompted Mob to convince him to lead a less destructive life at the end of the summer of season two. Although he refrains from using his powers and leads a protected life inside, Serizawa has proven to be a threat with his psychokinesis abilities, which he channeled through his umbrella.

It might sound silly, but Serizawa was very adept at using his umbrella as both a weapon and a shield, making him a pretty dangerous opponent for Mob and his friends. While he might have looked out of place with his shy personality and unnecessary props, Serizawa’s skills with the umbrella were memorable enough to make Mary Poppins proud.

Keiji Mogami

When fans first learn about Keiji Mogami, he’s an evil spirit. But before his death, Mogami was known as one of the most powerful mediums to ever live. Formerly known as “The Greatest Medium of the 20th Century,” Mogami had the ability to own his victims and create mental landscapes to trap them in surreal fantasies. He was also seen using the ability to absorb a person’s life force, which he used to wipe out many of the Claw Organization’s espers.

Toichiro Suzuki

As the leader of the Claw criminal organization, Toichiro is arguably one of the most powerful espers in anime – and the first real threat to Mob’s powers. Just like his son, Suzuki could store psychic energy and release it at the same time. But it was his My hero university-like abilities that really made Suzuki a dangerous enemy for Mob.

In addition to his other abilities, Suzuki can also absorb the powers of his followers and even transfer his abilities to other people, including some who were not initially espers. In a sense, it is both All For One and One For All in Mob Psycho 100.

Suzuki can also send shock waves through his opponents, manipulate gravity, and create armored barriers to protect him from bullets. In short, he is almost invincible.

Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama

No one really knows the limits or even the full capabilities of Mob’s esper abilities. He has shown that he can emulate the majority of the abilities listed so far on the list, although he does not use all of them most of the time. However, he’s the only character to defeat all of the other characters on this list, which in itself says something.

So far, it stands to reason that Mob has the ability to detect and exorcise evil spirits. It is also understood that Mob’s telekinetic powers are exceptionally strong for someone his age, which means he has the potential to be the next greatest esper by the time he grows up like Toichiro Suzuki.

The only difference between Mob and the other characters is that he apparently has no limits on how much power he can get. Fans can usually see the extent of its force applied to a counter based on percentages, starting at 1 and ending at 100%. However, whenever an Esper challenges him to the point where his suppressed psychic energy rises to the surface, Mob’s counter will disappear into the “???%” category. When this happens, it is not clear what might happen next.

The magical character of Howl’s Moving Castle takes the anime world leap into our hearts and homes.

Studio Ghibli sells a large collection of officially licensed animation products through Japanese retail chain Donguri Kyowakoku, but the vast majority of products are dedicated to the main characters in the films.

Donguri kyowakoku

Sometimes it’s the supporting characters that steal the show from fans, and that’s the case with Turnip head from the 2004 anime feature film Howl’s moving castle.

Image: Studio Ghibli

The turnip head is a cursed scarecrow who takes a liking to the main character Sophie, hopping after her and helping her whenever she needs it. At the end of the film, Turnip Head’s true identity revealed, giving the character another layer of depth and charm that resonates with audiences long after watching the movie.

So when Donguri Kyowakoku announced the release of a new product called the Howl’s Moving Castle Turnip Head Planter Cover, it caused a stir online.

As the name suggests, this product is more than a beautiful figure – it measures 30 centimeters (11.8 inches) planter cover, by hiding your potted plant so that only the tips of its stems stand out …through Turnip Head’s top hat.

▼ This is an ingenious design, and can also be used for other purposes, such as holding bowls of candy.

The texture and color of the hat and pipe are reproduced in incredible detail, and the modeling is so precise it makes Turnip Head look like it came straight out of the anime and entered your home.

All of that fine work and attention to detail comes at a cost, however, and that cost is 26,400 yen (US $ 227.79). If it’s out of your budget, don’t worry – you can still bring some Ghibli sparkle to your home with these scent gel lamps and nostalgic piggy banks, which are much more wallet-friendly!
