Tourist accused of biting part of man’s ear in Keys hotel altercation – CBS Denver
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A Port St. Lucie man faces serious charges after being accused of biting part of a man’s ear during an altercation at a Stock Island hotel.
James Lenn Williams, 45, was charged with aggravated battery, strangulation battery and two additional battery counts.

A deputy from the Monroe Sheriff’s Office responded to the Oceans Edge Resort & Marina at 2:34 a.m. on Thursday about a battery.
Authorities say the victim, a 28-year-old man, was being treated by paramedics and part of his ear was missing and still bleeding.

The victim told police that everyone involved was friends and on vacation. A woman in the group passed out, and Williams placed her in a maintenance wheel barrel and pushed her back to a hotel room. Williams threw beer at him and cursed him.
Police said the male victim intervened and told Williams he was disrespectful. Williams became combative, police said, and the male victim and two women with him attempted to calm Williams down. Williams then pushed one of the women to the ground, police say

Williams was eventually arrested near hotel rooms and taken to jail.
